It is with great sadness that during the current Coronovirus pandemic, Woodbridge Methodist Church has had to curtail much of its work. Following Government guidelines and advice issued by the Methodist Church, there will be no regular services of worship or church gatherings of any sort for the time being.

This has been an unprecedented blow to the life of the church, but the church is still here, scattered around the town and surrounding villages, still following the Lord Jesus Christ and serving the community in whatever ways we still can. The life of the church is being maintained largely through phone and email contact and our members and friends are making use not only of broadcast worship on TV and radio, but also the various resources being made available on a number of websites, not least those of our parent denominations.

If anyone needs our help, please make use of the contacts on this website and we will do what we can or point you in the right direction, as appropriate.

Please be assured that the town of Woodbridge and the surrounding villages will continue to be in our prayers, for though we are down for a time, we are most certainly not out! As St Paul wrote:

'we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.' (2 Cor 4:7-12)

WMC is a Church with a mission: to serve Christ by meeting the needs, both spiritual and physical, of our local community and the wider world. Whilst a traditional Methodist Church in many senses, our worship seeks to encompass both traditional and contemporary styles.

We'd love to have you worship with us!!

Everyone is invited to share light refreshments and a time of fellowship after the service.  We are a Fair Trade Church.  To support this cause, many Fair Trade items are available for sale each Sunday.
